Discovery Child Development Center has been nurturing young minds in Cary and Morrisville, NC since 2010. As an independently owned preschool, we provide exceptional early childhood education for children ages 2 through 5 years through our innovative project-based learning approach.
Our Story and Mission
Discovery Child Development Center was created with a simple mission: to provide children with a strong foundation for lifelong learning through hands-on exploration and discovery. We wanted a place where children would be excited to come to school every day and make connections to their lives.
Our project-based learning philosophy encourages children to ask questions, investigate, experiment, and discover answers through collaborative exploration. This approach develops critical thinking skills, creativity, and confidence that will serve children throughout their educational journey

Our Experienced Teaching Team
Our dedicated teachers are the heart of Discovery Child Development Center. Each educator brings passion, experience, and specialized training in early childhood development. Over half of our teachers have of our teachers have been here for 8 or more years, and we even have teachers who have been here since our first and second year!

Our Beautiful Morrisville Campus
Located at 11000 Lake Grove Boulevard in Morrisville just steps from Cary, our purpose-built facility provides the perfect environment for young learners. Our classrooms are large, bright and filled with high quality furniture and manipulatives. Classrooms are designed to encourage opportunities for whole group, small group and individualized instruction.
