Enrollment for the 2025–2026 school year is now open. We serve families in Cary & Morrisville with Young Preschool, Preschool, Pre-K, TK, and Kindergarten programs focused on small classes, daily Spanish, and project-based learning.

How Admissions Works
- Schedule a Tour – Visit classrooms, meet teachers, and ask questions.
- Apply – Submit your application and $40 application fee.
- Enrollment – Receive an offer (or waitlist update) and complete registration.

Enrollment procedure for preschool and kindergarten
The first step in our enrollment process is scheduling a tour or attending an open house. During the tour or open house, parents will learn more about our programs, philosophy and policies as well as visit the classrooms.
After the initial tour or open house, parents can apply by completing an application and submitting it to our main office.
After we process an application, we will make an offer of admission by providing the family with our enrollment contract. Only the enrollment contract secures a space in our preschool program.
If the space is unavailable in the family's desired classroom, the child will be placed on the waiting list (families only need to complete the application to be on the waiting list). The enrollment contract is not signed until a space becomes available.

“Preschool and Kindergarten Program Tuition” → Young Preschool, Preschool, Pre-K & Kindergarten Tuition
There is a non-refundable $40 application fee due with the school application (attached below). A non-refundable $275 registration fee will be due at the time of enrollment.
Parents can pay their child’s tuition at the beginning of the school year (5% discount will be given) or in 10 equal installments (first installment is due on July 15th). Children enrolling after July 15th, but starting on our start date will be required to pay the full annual tuition at the time of registration or the first monthly installment at the time of registration (along with the registration fee). Each monthly installment will be due on the first of the month (if it falls on a Saturday or Sunday, it will be due on the Monday). After a grace period of 5 days, a late fee of $25 will be applied. All parents must sign a tuition contract at the time of registration.
Children enrolling after our start date will have their tuition prorated. Parents will be given the exact tuition amount at the time of registration, and it will be stated in their tuition contract.

* While there is not a 5 day option offered for the young preschool class, a family may enroll a child for both a 3 day and a 2 day spot based on availability and director approval.

The first step to enrolling your child at Discovery is to complete an application along with the $40 application fee. If a space is available, you then will complete an enrollment contract along with the $275 enrollment fee. If the space you are applying for is not available, your child will be placed on the waitlist. Their waitlist application is good for the entire school year.
